Publishers
The Children's Book Council is your trade association. Help us celebrate and promote your books during Children's Book Week and throughout the year!
Promote the Children's Choice Book Awards
The Children's Choice Book Awards widget (below) displays a different finalist book every time it loads on your site. The widget links to the Children's Choice Book Awards website so visitors to your site will be able to easily vote for their favorite books. Be sure your authors and illustrators (especially your finalists!) add the widget to their websites and blogs! We have noticed a marked increase in voting when a finalist author mentions the awards program on his or her blog...

Celebrate Children's Book Week! The 91st annual observance of Children's Book Week will be May 10-16, 2010. A celebration of the written word, Children's Book Week introduces young people to new authors and ideas in schools, libraries, homes, and bookstores. Through Children's Book Week, Every Child a Reader (the CBC Foundation) encourages young people and their caregivers to discover the complexity of the world beyond their own experience through books. Be sure to visit www.BookWeekOnline.com for more information, ideas, and materials for Children's Book Week 2010.
[Publisher] is a member of the Children's Book Council (CBC), a nonprofit trade organization that encourages the use and enjoyment of books and related literacy materials for young people. The library is open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
