Artist Sara Varon is one of the rising stars in the indie comics scene. Her simple, moving, and instantly endearing artwork touches people’s hearts. Her projects include the graphic novels Sweaterweather and Robot Dreams and the picture books Chicken and Cat (a 2006 Parent's Choice silver honor award winner) and Chicken and Cat Clean Up.

This year she helps us celebrate our favorite books with the 2010 Children's Book Week bookmark!
